The three to look out for in the opener are King's Jester, Alloveragain and Red Chairman with the vote going the last named. The selection has only had a handfull of runs over hurldles and broke his jumps maiden tag third time of asking at Sedgefield last time out. He was a winner on the flat and although he was frustrating and had come down in the ratings he did have ability on the level. The one question mark will be whether or not he is good enough to win with a penalty and the answer in such a poor contest should be yes. Of his rivals King's Jester will be the danger. The trainer has travelled form Ireland on numerous occasions this summer with considerable success. King's Jester was one of those winners at Cartmel back in August. He was exposed with a penalty though thereafter behind Atticus Boy at Sedgefield so is possibly best watched once again. Alloveragain is a newcomer from the Howard Johnson yard who have their horses in good order at present so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Red Chairman.
