In depth

Verdict

Donovan can land his four timer at the expense of Cantgeton and Hollows Mill. The selection has winning form at Bangor, Cartmel, Perth and Huntington this past two months. He started his winning ways off a mark of eighty two and now runs of one hundred and six as a result of his success. He has not beaten a great deal in the process and connections have once again found an opportunity in relatively poor contest. If repeating his previous runs he should add to his tally. Cantgeton ran well beaten The Wicketkeeper at Perth last timeout, but he is a difficult horse to win with and might have to settle for second beat once more here. Hollows Mill won a chase at Hexham on his penultimate start but when running off a four pound higher mark at the same venue he didn't look the same horse. So for the winner we return to Donovan to contiue his recent run of luck.
