The Which Doctor ran a race full of promise on his Newmarket debut, only being caught close home, and has to be respected but Jeremy Noseda's colt may not represent much in the way of value and a chance is taken with Pont des Soupirs who gets the vote over Commander Cave. The last mentioned is a well bred newcomer, representing a yard that is more than capable of producing one to win first time out so he has to be respected. Mark Johnston's runners invariably improve with racing so Persistent is probably best watched, while Marcus Tregoning's Amhooj is probably better than she showed first time out. Sir Mark Prescott's Rough Sketch is likely to do better next term and a better bet may be Pont des Soupirs. Godolphin's colt probably found the going too testing on his debut and he looks worth another chance under today's conditions.
