A moderate affair can be taken by LEELU, with Batchworth Blaise, Macanta and Fly By Nelly all worth consideration. The last-named represents the in-form Hughie Morrison, and races from a mark 5lbs lower than when taking a 7f Kempton handicap in October. She has shown signs of a return to form on her last two visits here and a win would be no great surprise. Macanta finished runner-up in a maiden handicap at Yarmouth on Wednesday, her first decent form on the track. She is respected now back on the Polytrack and a market check is advised. Batchworth Blaise can boast three course wins, two over this distance and although he is 5lbs higher than the most recent of those he should be far more competitive on this surface than on turf last time. That brings us to the selection, Leelu. David Arbuthnot's filly was a beaten favourite over 7f at Kempton last time, but she probably had to much use made of her that day. Stepped back up to a mile here, with more considerate handling by Martin Dwyer, who got on well with her when they paired up here once before, she looks to have the ability to win the race.
