      Verdict

      AGE OF WISDOM arrives in fine form having won over hurdles in April before finishing clear of Atomic Jack over 2m at Goodwood last month. He’s upped 4lb but drops down a grade and is preferred to General Zoff. The latter won over 2m on the Polytrack here before finishing runner-up over a shorter trip at Salisbury while heavy going looked a legitimate excuse for So Near So Farhh’s poor effort at Carlisle and she’d placed on faster going before that. Be My Sea won over hurdles when last in action in 2017 though both of his earlier wins on the Flat came on the all-weather.
