Verdict

The action moves on the Turf course for the rest of the card. DUDLEY’S BOY returned to action with a facile seven length success at Brighton but the runner-up has subsequently gone close and the third was a previous winner so the form holds up. Andrew Balding’s charge is taken to defy a penalty and is preferred to another winner in Train To Georgia, who scored on the Polytrack here in March. Al Battar wasn’t beaten far when only sixth at Kempton in December while Better Than Ever showed a big improvement when third at Doncaster last time but the remainder are harder to recommend.
