Probably not a race to get too heavily involved in with a wide range of jockeyship on view. A high draw is usually an advantage on the straight course here and with that in mind, recent Southwell winner Cool Temper may struggle from stall 7. Compton Arrow has been shaping as though a return to form is imminent but, along with the reappearing Teofilio, is another who may be inconvenienced by a low draw. Of those drawn on the stands' side, The Gay Fox has held his form well of late on both turf and all-weather and should go well along with Night Market, a close third at Thirsk last time. Mutared, an impressive Wolverhampton winner for today's jockey, is better than the bare form of his fifth at Ripon last time would suggest after running wide on the turn and is another to consider.
