Sir Michael Stoute has a clutch of Oaks possibles and Barzah looks another likely candidate. The stoutly-bred daughter of Darshaan out of a 2m2f winner was a highly impressive winner on her sole start as a juvenile and more can be expected of her over midle distances this term. Mubkera was also successful on her only start last term but was more workmanlike and sports the owner's second colours on this occasion. Mingora shaped encouragingly in a backend Newmarket maiden which has been franked by the winner since and is clearly held in some regard by connections as she boasts a stack of Pattern entries but Lady's Secret has something to find at this level and Birdie does not look good enough.
