Sir Michael Stoutes CABAL looks the one to beat in the opener, while both Illustrious Prince and Concurrence are worth noting in the betting market. The selection showed promise after finishing second at Wolverhampton back in November on her racecourse debut. She will have matured over the winter and will have been well prepared by her trainer for her seasonal reappearance so is difficult to oppose. Illustrious Prince improved form his debut outing to finish an eye catching second in a Newmarket maiden back in October. His trainer decided to put him away for the winter and he is sure to winning races in the future so has to be respected. Concurrence is a well bred new comer trained by the in form Mark Johnston. He is sure to benefit from the experience but should be monitored closely in the betting market. Cabal is well connected and if fit she will take all the beating.
