The three that are well ahead on official ratings are Best Before, King Darshaan and Piper General, with the vote going to Best Before. To be fair, this is a weak affair and Best Before only has to run up to the best of his recent form to score. Much as he has a chance on ratings, King Darshaan has got to turn the clock back a couple of years to score, while Rowan Pursuit has a bit to find with the selection on Brighton form, but the course and distance winners Esperance, Margery Daw and Dial Square can be competitive for a place. Last summer's form gives Morag a good shout and, as a three-year-old, Piper General is open to improvement and can be considered. Overall, though, the vote goes to Best Before.
