Verdict

There should be plenty more to come from ANACREON and he duly has the verdict ahead of Tender Charm and Vamos. The selection was an expensive addition to Princess Haya of Jordan's string and has a top-class pedigree. Related to both Spadoun and Satwa Queen he showed some of that class beginning to take hold with a good effort last time over a furlong further here and we can expect further improvement. Tender Charm is yet to race but has a decent US pedigree with a bloodline connecting him to the smart Fun To Run, a 14-time winner at around one mile. Trainer Ralph Beckett is more than capable at getting his charges ready first time out and this one could be a big player. Vamos doesn't quite have the pedigree of the two we've mentioned but has progressed nicely in two starts. There are winners in the family and Jeremy Gask's runner could do enough to get involved. Moneysupermarket is another interesting newcomer, this time with place claims, but to win it we make our bed with Anacreon.
