Any market support for Soccer would be very interesting here but DERSERT AUCTION was promising enough on debut to get the vote ahead of Shark Man. Eventuallly the pick will want further but showed plenty of speed when chasing home the winners to finish third on debut. This looks easier and with winners in the family he should go a lot better for that first run. Shark Man was an eye-catching finisher when coming from a long way back to grab fifth place in a 19 runner maiden on debut. This one is bred of sprinting and again should run better for that education. Soccer is also bred for sprinting and has numerous American sprint winners in the family. It might turn out he will be more suited to Southwell but he should go well and his connections aren't shy at backing there own so watch the market. Any Day has some high class relations and is entitled to go well on debut while Blue Zephyr's pedigree suggests this one is an out and out speed merchant. Plenty of unknown quantities in the race but on what we know of Desert Auction he looks a winner.
