Not too many of these can be given much of a chance and the vote goes to recent Southwell selling winner Lyrical Girl, who gets the vote over Armentieres and Lady Predominant. The last mentioned has solid claims on her best form but that is over shorter than today's trip and Andrew Reid's filly is not certain to stay. Armentieres is well in on official BHB ratings and, a disappointing effort at Wolverhampton last time excepted, has been running consistently well of late. She has to be respected but in a weak race Lyrical Girl is the obvious choice. Mick Channon's filly is another who has yet to prove her stamina over the distance but there is stamina in her pedigree and the daughter of Orpen showed no signs of stopping when beating Rare Coincidence at Southwell last time (Armentieres third). Timely Twist looks the best of the remainder, who are a largely moderate bunch.
