Carols Choice, Countrywide Girl, Threat and Pips Song should all go well here but we are happy to take a chance on Attorney. The selection goes well on this track and showed signs of a return to form when a fair fourth behind Noble Locks over this course and distance on Boxing Day. That race had a more competitive look to it than this and from a favourable draw Attorney looks the one to beat. Carols Choice would have chances on her best form but she finished last behind Attorney at Wolverhampton last time and she looks to be out of form, while Pips Song is another capable of going well but this gelding also seems well short of his best at present. In fact that is a comment that applies to most of these, with Threat another that could run a big race if he is in the mood. He was a disappointment on this track last time when well beaten behind Consignia, but he will be more suited here by the drop in trip and looks to have strong place prospects. Of the rest, Countrywide Girl is from a shrewd yard and has to be respected, while Flying Faisal is a course and distance winner who can not be discounted, but Attorney ran well enough last time to suggest he is returning to form, and he gets our vote.
