Our Kes looks on a stiff enough mark now so is passed over today in favour of recent winner Ruffie, although a back-to-form Postmaster and the consistent Wodhill Gold rate as live dangers. The selection just got up to win at Southwell eleven days ago and with promising apprentice Patrick Hills able to claim 5lbs, a 3lb rise in the weights looks much more palatable. His trainer has her stable in good form at present and he looks the one to side with in an open contest. Postmaster warrants plenty of respect as a course and distance winner and although disappointing last time out, he shouldn't be written off just yet. Our Kes rates a danger but is paying the price for his two victories this winter, whilst Wodhill Gold is very consistent and has place claims at least once again. Charlie Cyzer's Moon Bird returned to form last time out and can go well at a price, however for the winner we will return to Ruffie.
