A trappy contest gets proceedings underway and as usual the market will be all important in this type of event but the principals look to be Thunder Bay, Only In Jest and Grange Poppy and the vote is given to Thunder Bay. The selection hails from the in-form Mick Channon Yard and this well-bred colt by Hunting Lion will not need to be anything special to score. Only In Jest rates the main danger as he is a colt by Averti but he is bred to be suited by a longer trip in time and is taken on with this in mind. Grange Poppy is another worthy of respect as she is a filly by Choisoir and with the booking of Eddie Ahern catching the eye she should be watched in the market. This is a trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Thunder Bay.
