Verdict

LEARO DOCHAIS can defy top-weight status here to follow up his win here last weekend, and is taken to get the better of the consistent Sarasota Sunshine and Peper Harow. Michael Jarvis' gelding has only been raised three pounds for that win, the first of his career; he may want a little bit further in time, but after starting well and grabbing an early lead, he pretty quickly put his rivals to the sword. Similar tactics may be employed tonight. Sarasota Sunshine won't want it too soft, and returns to seven furlongs after racing at six more recently, but has won at both trips. The draw's not the best though in stall one. Peper Harow won nicely in a similar contest over this trip last time out when stepped up in trip and given headgear, so connections may have found her optimum level again. Towards the bottom of the weights, she must enter calculations, if able to put in two decent runs back to back. However the one we feel to be the more likely winner is Learo Dochais.
