La Capriosa, Chris's Jem and Imaginary Diva are the principals here, and the daughter of Kyllachy, La CAPRIOSA, looks the one to rely on in this rain softened ground. After winning well at Folkestone in April, Chris's Jem was last in a follow up attempt at Sandown in a hotter affair. He has run well when there has been cut in the ground, but his recent run and the fact he is not proven on a softer surface leads us elsewhere. Imaginary Diva won successive races on the all-weather during the winter, but she seems to be one paced at the business end of her races. She is consistent however and can hit the frame. La Capriosa was only just touched off at Pontefract last weekend and runs off the same mark here. Although his only previous turf success came on a fast surface, his breeding suggests this ground should suit. La Capriosa is well treated, in form, and can take this sprint opener.
