    Verdict

SEHOY showed grim determination to get up to win on his reappearance and, with the form working out well, the John Gosden-trained colt is selected in preference to Fin Vin De Leu and Fortuni. The last named won an ordinary maiden at Southwell last time out but steps up in grade today. The colt is well-bred, though, and, being trained by Sir Mark Prescott, it'd be folly to suggest he is anything but a potential improver. A careful watch of the betting is advised. Similar comments apply to Fin Vin De Leu, who is proven over the trip but has never looked the easiest of rides. Therefore, Greg Fairley is sure to earn his riding fee as he attempts to keep the son of Dr Fong interested all the way to the line. However, Sehoy looks and all together more straightforward character and, having shown he has no fears about this course or distance last time out, he is fancied to be the one to beat again here.
