        Verdict

        As with the previous Lingfield race, the form book offer a vague picture at this stage and PRINCE OF JOHANNE is only a tentative selection ahead of King's Sabre and Hypnotist, while the selection's stablemate Secret Witness is another debutant that is worth a look in the betting market. Hypnotist has run with credit in each of his three starts and, having been trounced by the smart Debussy here in March, he has faced a fair calibre of opponent. The Halling colt is a likely contender to again make the frame in this company. King's Sabre, who starts his season on a mark of 86, has been set a stiff test by the assessor and is likely to be difficult to place from his current mark. A maiden should be a formality for him at some stage, though. However, Prince Of Johanne is the most interesting of the newcomers and, although it is difficult to split them on jockey bookings, his pedigree would suggest he is the Jeremy Noseda stable's best hope at this trip.
