Ace Baby can beat One Trick Pony, with Bermuda Beauty and Baytown Lulu best of the rest. Ace Baby was good enough to win in maiden company at Nottingham in April but has been beaten in three subsequent outings, the last of which was in a Newcastle claimer 11 days ago. He finished third there, two lengths ahead of One Trick Pony, and meets that rival on better terms now, so should uphold that form. The latter is the other main player here, so Ace Baby has sound claims of getting back to winning ways. One Trick Pony unfortunately found one too good in newcomer Highland Song at Musselburgh on Saturday but again ran well, sticking to his task until the winner came on the scene. His conqueror may turn out to be useful in nurseries, so One Trick Pony, a dual winner at Thirsk earlier, should still be followed at this level as he has plenty of experience. Bermuda Beauty comes from a stable that knows the time of day with it's youngsters so do not be surprised if she improves on her debut effort. Baytown Lulu was unlucky in running at Lingfield and has a low weight plus Donna Caldwell's claim, so cannot be left out entirely, but Ace Baby has the overall form to oblige.
