Another Con is no world beater but can rattle up another win in this lowly grade, with Eijaaz and One Upmanship best of the remainder. Another Con has yet to win on Turf, and only does what she has to judged on her two back-to-back victories at Wolverhampton in April, coming out on top by a short-head on both occasions. Having just managed to get up on the line on the first occasion, she showed plenty of stamina when upped to a mile and a half, once again scoring by the narrowest of margins. She was due to go to the Ascot sales but after a break lines up here again for Paul Howling, who can be confident in her ability to succeed again at this level. Eijaaz normally saves his better efforts for the all-weather as well, but ran well enough at Brighton to warrant more than a passing glance here, while One Upmanship has shown a bit of promise in the past and now drops back in trip after performing poorly last time. Platinum Pirate is a course and distance winner but has been well out of form and it is hard to say anything flattering about the others, so Another Con looks to have obvious claims.
