Tamalain caught the eye at Goodwood on her return, and can beat the colt My Diss Sire, with Infatuate and newcomer Postmaster seen as potential dangers. Amanda Perrett is worth following at the moment and she should go close here with Tamalain who went into plenty of notebooks when finishing strongly behind War At Sea on her Goodwood return. The daughter of Royal Academy gave away fully 10 lengths at the start at the Sussex track but flew up the straight to grab the runners-up start. Although the fact that some horses were tiring made her effort look even better than it probably was, there is no doubt that she has trained on and she will soon lose her maiden tag. My Diss Sire shaped very well when third to the potentially useful Fortunate Isle at Newbury and is also one that will be winning sooner rather than later, while Infatuate was also beaten by a Barry Hills inmate at Bath and maybe has a bit more to prove. Hills himself is represented by the well-related Postmaster whose dam is a full-sister to Reams Of Verse, and is likely to need the run, and so with an outing under her belt, it is Tamalain who is the one to be on.
