A particularly weak seller in which few can boast solid recent form but Mallard has some respectable form in the context of this race and is just preferred. The James Given-trained gelding was below his best last time but had previously shown enough ability to win a race of this nature when second in handicap company at Wolverhampton last month and a reproduction may well prove good enough at this lowly level. Mobo-Baco was lightly raced last term and returns from a lengthy absence but goes well fresh and is capable of going close if anywhere near the form of last April's Folkestone success. Call The Mark and Cowboys And Angels are not without claims if back to their best while Octennial is best in at the weights but appeared on the downgrade last year and is best watched on his seasonal return.
