In depth
Verdict
An interesting contest with some lightly raced and well-bred newcomers from powerful yards taking on more established performers. Tease falls in to the latter category following a string of creditable efforts in juvenile maidens last term. The Green Desert filly will be race-fit after a recent outing on the all-weather and her stable has made a fine start to the new campaign so there is no reason why she shouldn't give another good account. John Dunlop is another trainer who has his Arundel team in good order and both Buthaina and Kristal Dancer make plenty of appeal having shown ability last season. Ed Dunlop saddles two newcomers with the Cheveley Park-owned Red Flame the pick of the pair, being by Selkirk out of a dual-winning sprinter by Prince Sabo. Andrew Balding has made a good start to his training career and introduces a bright prospect in the shape of Fleeting Moon, who should be noted in the exchanges.
