The Flying Cowboy gets a narrow vote in a wide open handicap, Gallego and Freddy could provide most danger. The selection has taken a little while to get the hang of this game but showed improved form last time out when third behind Time Over in a Nottingham maiden. The winner has let the form down recently but a few of the horses that finished behind have run well since. A mark of 60 looks pretty fair and we expect a big run. Gallego ran well at Nottingham last week when chasing home Top Mark and a repeat effort should see this one go close. Freddy meanwhile is steadily dropping down the weights and wasn't beaten far at Wolverhampton last time out. Putra Laju has done little this campaign but has claims on his winter all-weather form. However The Flying Cowboy does looks to be one of the more progressive runners in the field and he gets the decision.
