        Verdict

        Swift Princess is certainly one to consider here as is Cassie's Choice, however we will just side with the Clive Cox trained Russian Gift. She started the season with a very promising run when chasing home Ocean Blaze at Bath. She was then very unsettled in the stalls when well beaten next time out and then hated the softish conditions on her next two runs. If the ground remains on the fast side we could see a return to form. Swift Princess was a game winner last time out and has to go close again with just a three pound rise very fair. Cassie's Choice finished third in a competitive handicap at Goodwood last time out and the second has since franked the form. Straw Boy is another with claims on the pick of last season's form, but Russian Gift is well treated on her best form and she gets the vote.
