Blue Java is a tentative choice in a wide open handicap, Angaric and Indian Edge are two others worthy of respect. The selection has been in decent form all season and wasn't beaten far behind stable companion Kasumi over a mile at Brighton. The slight drop in trip should help as should the one pound lower mark. Angaric is another that deserves reward for some consistent performances. Ground and trip are ideal and it is difficult to see this one out of the frame. Indian Edge is one that boasts recent winning form having got the better of Milton's Keen at Chepstow last month. That was on slow ground so any more rain would aid his cause. Sailor King has earned top-weight and is another to consider for the places, but Blue Java looks the pick of the weights this afternoon and he gets the verdict.
