Handset is the obvious form horse here but we will take a chance on the debutante Musaalem, Turban Heights and Alecia may do best of the others. The selection is trained by Willie Haggas who is not averse to having first time out winners. The trip should be ideal for this son of Aljabr and he will not have to be a world beater to land this prize. Handset has a current handicap mark of 68 following some decent enough efforts in stronger races. If the selection is in need of the run she should be the one to benefit. Turban Heights is a well bred daughter of Golan who displayed some promise on her debut and she is likely to improve. Alecia was highly tried on her second outing and will appreciate this drop in class. So not the strongest of races and Musaalem could be up to making a winning start to his career.
