An interesting little contest, and potentially a trappy one, where Silent Jo may improve enough to see off Red Peony and Foxhaven. The selection steps up to a mile here for the first time and with the middle distance pedigree he possesses we should see more from him. Though a beaten favourite last time here over seven furlongs, he was running on well that day and this extra furlong will certainly suit. The form of that race looks solid enough and we think Frankie Dettori will be partnering another winner here. Red Peony comes here from Group company, albeit a well beaten eighth in Doncaster's May Hill Stakes last time. However, the Montjeu filly has a clear chance based on her third in a Goodwood Group 3 prior to that and she is certainly worth persevering with over a mile before she steps up in trip next year. She won't be far away. The third member of this trip of runners, Foxhaven, is likely to be propping up the market, but he should also be no back number. Conditions were similar at Goodwood last time when he was only just collared close home and that was still a decent piece of form in context, so he don't expect him to simply make up the numbers. However, the one with the most scope is Silent Jo, who can do his talking no the track here.
