With just a 2lb rise for a recent Yarmouth success Zalebe looks capable of following up as he continues in selling company, while Calusa Lady, Naughty Girl and Chandelier can also go well. The selection looked likely to maintain some sort of progress after coming good over this trip at Yarmouth, when the front two finished clear of the remainder. She showed a good attitude that day and now that she has some confidence she can defy that small rise in the weights to follow up. Calusa Lady may prove to be the main danger. The Toby Balding-trained filly would have a clear chance if she could reproduce her second over six furlongs at Salisbury on her penultimate start over this longer trip. However, her ability to be as effective here is uncertain and for that reason she is opposed. Conversely, Naughty Girl drops back in trip from a mile, over which she was a winner at Bath last month. This softer ground is unlikely to help her though, as she likes it like a road, and a mark 2lb higher than that win may just be too much for her. Of the remainder, Chandelier is 3lb lower than when showing promise over a mile at Lingfield last time and comes into the reckoning if handling cut, but for the winner we take Zalebe to make it back-to-back wins.
