Son of Greek Myth can make up for lost time over Edgehill, with Nantucket Sound and Grouville other interesting newcomers. Based on three solid Flat efforts last year, Son of Greek Myth brings a touch of class to this contest and could develop into a leading Triumph Hurdle candidate. Gary Moore's juvenile has not been seen out since finishing fourth to Arkholme at Haydock in soft ground over a year ago. His earlier efforts were a debut second to no less than Let The Lion Roar at Newmarket and a third to Punctilious at Salisbury. All those pieces of form are head and shoulders above anything else on offer here, and if he is anywhere near fit, the son of Silver Hawk should take the beating under Tony McCoy. Sure to have been well schooled, he is one to follow. Edgehill was a maiden from six starts on the Flat but one of those was a close second at Ascot in July. He did lack fluency on his debut over hurdles at Kelso eight days ago but can only improve for the run, and should be in the shake-up. Nantucket Sound was given a strong ride by Kieren Fallon when opening his account on the level at Bath in July and is another that is sure to have been well schooled. Grouville has not been seen since April but was a debut winner on Lingfield's Polytrack and is related to hurdler Dariole. The market should tell us if any of the others are fancied but Son of Greek Myth can make a winning start to his new career.
