In depth

Verdict

Bahamian Bird has improved this year but this is quite a competitive finale with Childesplay returning to form at Newbury last time and North Creek noted staying on well at Chelmsford. Zefferino has been eased a few pounds and may have found his level but Vroom may be facing a stiff task off top weight and Traveller and Deansgate are also worth opposing. PEACH MELBA easily landed the odds at Chepstow last time and can defy a 6lb rise as there a chance that the ground will turn in her favour again.
