        Verdict

        Gabrial The Devil is likely to do better now going handicapping and Move to the Front is another with scope for improvement in nurseries, Clive Cox’s colt wasn’t beaten far at Brighton in a couple of runs earlier in the summer, though the step up in trip would be a worry on breeding. DARK BLUE has been showing gradual improvement so a mark of 57 is not prohibitive. Her dam only won over 6f but was placed over a mile so there’s every chance that Mick Channon’s 75,000 euros purchase will last home. Jo's Girl and Northern Law are other possibilities.
