MAGICAL made a huge impression on her debut behind Dawn Delivers over 6f at the Curragh, staying on strongly after being slightly outpaced at halfway. The full-sister to Rhodendron will be at short odds here and should go one better. The winner's stable is represented by Active Approach, who also made a very bright start behind Easter Lily at Leopardstown and is certain to have come on for the run. Drombeg Dream had been showing up well in maidens before finding Group 3 company beyond her at the Curragh but there are some nicely-bred newcomers to look out for. The selection's stable-companions Athena, a daughter of Camelot, has a superb pedigree being closely related to Irish Oaks winner Bracelet and others winners while Hence, who cost 2.1m guineas, is a sister to Group 1 winner Alice Springs and three other winners. Dermot Weld's Shelannga is another to note for the future.
