        Verdict

        Crushed was a shade disappointing last time at Ripon and is possibly a couple of pounds too high at present. Bolder Bob was prominent for a long way when fourth over course and distance last month but is another who could do with some help from the handicapper. Collateral form suggests COUNT SIMON (NAP) has the beating of Crushed on these terms and Jason Watson’s claim is a bonus. The top weight can also prove too strong for Second Page and Challow while Powerful Love appears to have gone backwards since a second at Carlisle in June.
