A tough race in which Fretwork receives a marginal preference over Mad Rush and Aegis. Fretwork is at least in form and has the positive of a good run behind Passage Of Time on a similar surface. She can go on from a recent maiden. Mad Rush has to be respected from the Luca Cumani yard. Unproven on soft, it remains to be seen as to how he will react. Aegis shaped as if staying further when victorious over a mile at Southwell but the form of that victory took a knock following Sky Masterson's lamentable run here last week. Five A Side chased home the useful Sesmen on his second racecourse start and could literally be anything. Greek Envoy looks to have plenty of weight for what he has achieved. Giant Slalom should have few problems with the going as he is a son of the mudlark, Tomba. Seleet has been easy to back on all his racecourse outings thus far while Capanelle winner, Without Excuse, is worth a look in the market following two sighters on faster ground. A puzzle for punters and Fretwork is the recommendation.
