      Verdict

      Six newcomers from yards more than capable of readying one first time, so the market should prove instructive. Maglev is likely to be popular for Haggas and Marquand, as will Primo with James Doyle an eye-catching booking for a yard enjoying a fine start to the campaign, especially with juveniles. Conducive represents the Hannon juvenile army and automatically commands respect but the choice is WINGS OF WAR, who has speed across his pedigree being by Dark Angel out of a 5f-winning mare who was by Kodiac. Mr McCann and Ernie's Valentine are respected but represent yards currently having a relatively quiet time.
