ARTY CRAFTY has taken advantage of a lenient handicap mark after landing a hat-trick of wins and is take to add to his winning tally defying a further six pound penalty, while both Sumani and Ebony Eyes warrant respect. The selection had been busy running over an inadequate trip last season and in the process he was given a handicap rating of just 52. He was then stepped up in trip to win over 10 furlongs at this venue and continued to improve to win at Hamilton and a further success here last time out. Connections are keen to take advantage of the six pound penalty and another success looks within his grasp. Sumani won at Lingfield in May and has since performed well in defeat. He was not beaten far after finishing second to Qelaan at Folkestone last time out and another bold bid can be expected. Ebony Eyes is still only lightly raced and is open to further improvement. She is only four pounds higher in the weights since breaking her maiden tag at this venue last time out so she should be closely monitored in the betting market. Arty Crafty has been well placed by his connections and can continue in his winning ways.
