BUCKIE BOY has been knocking on the door in similar races this season and that door can finally swing open for him, while both Storming Sioux and Mubrook have been performing with credit of late and warrant respect. The selection ran a personal best after having his head gear removed for the first time over course and distance last time out. This is not uncommon as blinkers do not always enhance a horses performance. If he can recapture his recent form he is sure to be in the shake-up come the business end of the race. Storming Sioux had shown great promise in four maiden races but disappointed at Newcastle when sent off favourite last time out. In her defence she was coming back from a little break, so she may fare better this time around. Mulbrook comes from a well respected yard in Luca Cumani and has not been discredited in better races than this in the past. This does look like his easiest opportunity to date so any market moves should be noted. Buckie Boy is the form horse in the race and is difficult to oppose.
