DESERT DOCTOR faded in the closing stages at Haydock on his debut but should have benefited from the experience. Ed Walker’s charge gets a speculative vote ahead of the newcomers. The latter group are led by Roger Varian’s Lashabeeh, who is related to four winners, while Sir Commander is a half-brother to a Listed winner in France and represents the Haggas yard. Dollar Value and Cloud Eight are others to note.
