SYDNEY DE BAUNE may have been a 20/1 chance when successful over hurdles at Chepstow last month but the second had won its previous race by 30 lengths and Robert Walford’s charge is the one to beat if taking to fences. King's Tempest didn’t win over hurdles but went close on several occasions. He’s tried in cheekpieces on his fencing bow and Richard Johnson rides so he’s greatly respected but the fences have been getting in the way since Sage Monkey won at Bangor in August.
