In race four, Prime Powered is selected ahead of Tromp and Poseidon's Secret. Prime Powered now races from a mark that is one pound below a winning course and distance mark from last summer and, coming here fit now, looks to hold a decent chance. Ocean Avenue could be fancied on his fairly recent Turf form, while Tromp ran pretty well from today's mark last time on his first run for a while so a competitive showing is not ruled out. Poseidon's Secret looked very much to be going the right way when winning a Wolverhampton maiden last time and his mark looks fair. With winning course and distance form to his name, Burgundy might bag some money from his mark, while Star Of Canterbury is lightly raced enough to be given a shout having won on Turf and at Southwell so far. German import Daring Racer should be watched in the betting, while Competitor has won two of his last three, although one of them was a seller, and a four pounds rise for the latest of them might test him. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Prime Powered.
