Verdict
Lady Maranzi is nothing out of the ordinary but the eight-year-old came back to form when landing a selling handicap at Taunton at the beginning of this month and a reproduction of the form shown that day may well suffice with the main threats looking to be A Double Ewe Bee and Raven Hall Lady. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of her rivals after just two starts in bumpers but lack of form over hurdles makes her probably one to watch rather than bet. Hi Laurie is capable but has not shown her best form for some time, while Fly Me To Dunoon showed only a modicum of ability on the level and is hard to back with any confidence on her hurdling debut, even in this low grade. A Double Ewe Bee ran better at Taunton last time and is entitled to be thereabouts but Lady Maranzi has more solid claims and is preferred.
