In depth

Verdict

Lyes Green lost nothing in defeat on unsuitably soft ground in a valuable contest at Sandown last time and, with ground conditions to suit, is taken to resume winning ways here with the main threats looking to be Aristoxene and Just Beth. The last mentioned has been in good form of late but the combination of quicker ground and having to give weight away all round may well count against him. At the other end of the handicap, Nobody Tells Me may do better on this faster ground than when pulled up under testing conditions last time. Mith Hill is capable but probably a shade high in the weights, while Evelith Forrest is hard to weigh up after limited opportunities. Mckelvey is well treated judged by chase form and has to be of interest, while Aristoxene is another to consider having slipped to a winning mark. The ground looks key to the claims of Lyes Green though and he is preferred.
