      Verdict

A trappy affair in which BLUE NYMPH is selected ahead of Kinetix and Samaaha. Ralph Beckett's filly has often been backed without quite being good enough but this race looks there for the taking over a trip that suits. Kinetix does not have a good draw and she is far from the easiest of rides. Samaaha would have chances on her distant second to Phillipina at Nottingham and it is surprising that connections come here rather than go handicapping. Chatanoogachoochoo is a honest enough performer over a mile but we are unconvinced by a step up in trip. Slick Mover has been seen out over hurdles but Brendan Powell has gone to the trouble of booking Michael Hills for the ride so watch the market. Ashes Summer is well bred though does not appear to do anything quickly. Not a race to be dogmatic about and for the winner, we return to Blue Nymph.
