MAGIC DOLL is our pick in division two of the fillies maiden with Flip Flop and Contrary. The selection put up a smart debut at Newmarket and served notice that there could be more to come. From a family that includes Gold Hush and Give Him Credit; the boys in blue should know all about her. Flip Flop was not too far away at Windsor on debut. Unfortunately the winner was well beaten next time out at Bath. Contrary's dam was an unraced full sister to Desert Quest. Anything she does today will pale into insignificance compared to next year. Eleonara Duse is a half-sister to Scottish Stage. She won over seven furlongs as a juvenile though put her better efforts up with age. Thereafter does have experience of racing on this surface and will have come on for a first run. Thrill is related to juvenile winners but we would have liked to have a seen a more senior jockey on board. Wild Rockette qualifies for nurseries beyond this and will make more appeal then. Magic Doll is selected.
