MIRABELLA is our idea of the winner with Miss Mittagong and Deirdre others on the shortlist. Although Motivator's first crop have been something of a mixed bag, we are hopeful that this is one of the picks of the bunch. The dam was unraced though is a daughter of Fillies Mile winner, Aqaarid so we have no issues in relation to distance. Miss Mittagong is a half-sister to a number of American winners between six furlongs and a mile and is one to note in the market. Deirdre has to be a candidate for the worst named horse to reach the racecourse. She is a half-sister to useful middle distance performer, Duncan, so we are prepared to watch today rather than punt. Sing Sweetly is one for the notebook this afternoon. Her dam, Sweetness Herself got two miles and as a half-sister to Jagger, anything achieved today will be a bonus. Muwakaba is majestically bred represents the stable that won this race last year. That winner was Ave so Sir Michael Stoute¿s filly has got plenty to live up in her career. Ed Vaughan isn't particularly known as a prolific trainer of juveniles though his horses are running well so Vert Chapeau has to enter calculations. Flouncing has plenty of speed on the dam side of the pedigree so watch the market to see if there is any money for the William Haggas debutant. A fascinating race that can go to Mirabella.
