    Verdict

    Dartington could only manage third when sent off favourite at Lingfield though should still be thereabouts in this and is preferred of those with racecourse experience. But ARCTIC VEGA may well prove an above-average newcomer given he cost 220,000gns as a half-brother to a Group 3 winner and Andrew Balding’s yard remains in fine form. Eastern General is related to a couple of winners and makes more appeal than Paxos and Dors Toyboy of the remainder.
