    Verdict

Eva's Request stepped up on her debut effort when landing a maiden here over six furlongs last month and should appreciate the extra furlong today so has to be respected but more solid claims are held by Sourire, who gets the vote with Lady Sandicliffe rated the pick of the remainder. The selection needed every yard of the trip when getting up close home to win at Catterick last time and, with more to come, Sir Mark Prescott's filly looks the one to be on. Mark Johnston's Gulf Coast has not progressed as much as may have been anticipated but may do better now sent into nurseries, while Talk of Saafend has given little sign of encouragement so far. Paul Cole's Yes Meg stepped up on her debut effort when landing a Thirsk seller last time and has to be respected but this looks tougher and a bigger threat is likely to come from Lady Sandicliffe, who seemed not to handle the testing conditions last time but had shown promise prior to that. Sourire has plenty going for her though and she gets the vote.
